Equipment distribution and the start are at the Hotel Allegra Lodge in Kloten, same as the equipment return and the finish.
How to get there
You can reach the hotel on foot in 4 minutes from Kloten railway station. If you would like to arrive by car, parking spaces are available for a fee.
Before the start
Check availability to see if all courses can be played.
Course of the game
The ball should be played from the marked starting point to the respective target in as few hits as possible.
Each starting point is marked with the Urban Golf logo.
The target is described and also marked on most holes.The shot is always from the tee. This is connected with the lanyard so that it does not fly away during the tee shot.
If a ball is no longer playable, it is replaced at the point where it left the playing area. It must be decided before the start of the game whether a penalty point will be awarded in this case.
The number of strokes required is noted on the scorecard for each player and course. If the ball has not reached the target after nine strokes, ten points are recorded.
Rules of the game
Our "greens" are public spaces, so be nice to passers-by, cars and cyclists - they are part of the game! Always give way and be friendly when sharing the course.
Only play on the officially authorised courses with the Urban Golf equipment: golf ball, club and the tee for the perfect tee shot. Remember that you are responsible for yourself - Urban Golf is at your own risk! The Urban Golf Kloten club and the Hotel Allegra Lodge accept no liability for stray balls, crazy shots or other exploits on or off the course. We are here for the fun, but a little caution never hurts!
Tips und tricks
The loose club grip: Don't clutch the golf club like a lost remote control. Treat it like a good friend - loose and relaxed
The cool tee shot pose: Imagine you're on the Oscars red carpet presenting your best tee shot. Keep your posture, hips forward, and action!
The elegant swing: Swing like a ballerina on asphalt - flowing, elegant and with the necessary amount of grace. Show the garbage cans who the real star of the road is!
The focussed look: No staring at the ball like a hungry penguin at a fish. Concentrate on the target and let's go!
The winning pose: Strike a winning pose after every successful shot - regardless of whether you hit the tree or the rubbish bin. You are the champion of the urban fairways!
